Sec 3 Camp

The camp was amazing, even though alot of the guys say its not so great...
I shall type it out (even though its past by 10 days or so)
Day 1:
Arrived early by 10 mins, caught up with friends at canteen... I was thinking : oh no not another camp... Line up, briefing.... FINALLY we got on the bus and was leaving! The htp,(Zhen Hui, Tricia, Annette and Lip Kai), as always, started on cheering and trying to get our spirits up. didnt really work though... U had to commend their efforts... We arrived! Still feeling bored...
After MORE briefing, it was activity time! 1st up for us was Abseiling. You have to admit it was very scary... Wei Xiang "volunteered" to go up first, and everyone was at the edge of their seats... Then it was me!!! I was terrified. I slipped on the first step, how embarassing... Then i heard the cheering, and continued on...
2nd activity, the Zipline! It looked way fun but many ppl were scared. Wei Xiang "volunteered" again, and off he went! He overshot the ladder and poor angelyn (the hpt) had to rope him in. I think it has something to do with being heavy... I hung around trying to get a helmet and when it came, i ran up to the instructor guy. From up there, it was more scary than fun... The cable made such loud and irritating noises, and the dumbell u had to sit on hurt my butt :( But it was over! It was a great experience...
Dinner, and campfire prep. and supper, and debfrief, and return to bunks.... We couldnt hav any sleep. The 3A guys where ambushing ppl, you qin and the others were cracking too many jokes, and it was boiling hot in there... Still managed to sleep for 2 hours, and left to brush teeth at 4.45a.m.
Day 2:
Breakfast, and hurray the 3rd activity : Multi-Line Traverse. It was way too scary. 2 ppl on a cable each with no support other than themselves have to walk a long distance. I didnt volunteer. Only 2 pairs went up though... Jiahao&Phillip ; Pinye&Sirong (i think).
4th activity ; similiar, but this tym its solo and u have ropes to hold on to. Another hpt person, Li Ting, arrived and joined us! The Fun never ends, i guess... I was shaking throughout the whole distance, but at least i made it!
Lunch and 5th activity : RAFTING!!! A super fun activity! We had 2 barrels and 4 PVC pipes to make a raft that could survive the ocean. We split into 2 grounps and started building! I tried to help out by tightening the ropes, but i wasnt really that much of a help anyways... Finally, with the raft complete, we hit the ocean! My 1st thought was : Argh, my shoes are full of wet sand. That was my 2nd and 3rd thought too... Amazingly, our raft survived! The instructor exclaimed: "This is the first time i see this; raft look like shyt, yet still can survive every thing!" The other team's raft didnt survive though...
6th activity : Kayaking!!! I was a bit nervous, couse i never kayaked before and i wasnt really such a strong guy... I got paired with Yiwei, and we pushed off a.s.a.p. It was soooo fun! except when i got a bit seasick and had to let yiwei pedal on her own. I also accidentaly hit her in the back with my oar a couple of times... Man, i hope she isnt angry... hahazz..
Dinner, campfire prep, and NIGHTWALK!!! I partneredwith Vincent, and off we went... we spotted a couple of hpt ppl on the way, and waved to them. it was more funny than scary... After the campfire, while we are waiting for tricia lipkai and the others to show up, we had some cheers. It was then when i created the 1 cheer that lead into many others. The BILLY BUNGALAH. bahahahaha. Even you qin has to admit that was funny.
Supper, de brief, and we hit the bunks! Most of us immediately fell asleep becuz of yesterday's lack o sleep.
3rd day:
Man... Alot of gr8 activities were on this day! yet it rained heavily. So no log bridge, rockwall, challenge pole and RATS for us... Man i wanted to do the rockwall and challenge pole... SO the whole day was campfire prep and games... We learnt a new cheer/dance : friendship dance! it was quite nice...
CAMPFIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nth much to say on this one. We owned the place man...
At night, we were ambushed by the 3A guys alot. they threw dustpans and water around, but lucky i didnt get any... At about 1:45am. Mr. Clement came in for a spot check, cuz one person lost his handfone! OMG i hope he found it
4th day:
Cleaning up! 3 Grace was supposed to clean the boat shack, and clean it we did! The hpt were getting nuts and were going "Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!" haha... Water was splashed around, and after the amazing cleaning, one hpt guy sprayed the water upwards, so we all saw a rainbow... Some more cheers and more new cheers that came from billy bungalah. For example : the banana bungalah dance. LOL that was funny...
Awards! Our class got the award for best job at cleaning up! and the hpt ppl were going Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace!Clean the boatshack with 3Grace! all over again...
It was a wonderful experience. Class spirit was sky high, everyone made new friends.
